John Tedesco is the owner and operator of Business Innovation Services.  He has a passion for helping SMEs to grow and become more successful. 

John’s unique knowledge about social and economic trends is invaluable for any business wanting to grow and adapt to an ever-changing world.  He monitors relevant economic and social trend data and leading commentators which enable him to advise business owners about how their products and operations may be impacted by these trends.

For over 30 years, John has assisted organisations to plan and improve their organisations to achieve their goals. John spent many years working in corporate and government enterprises as a business analyst and corporate planner.

He is now using his vast experience, knowledge and insights to help SME owners achieve their dreams. He adopts a practical and bespoke approach to working with individual businesses to provide advice and support that meets their needs.

John has broad commercial and community experiences having:

• Owned and operated a clothing import business in partnership;
• Been a mentor for start-up businesses under the various government business support programs;
• Performed executive roles with various business and community not-for-profit organisations; and
• Been a judge for various business awards including the WA Tourism Awards, Telstra Small Business Awards and Fremantle Business Awards.

He has conducted over 300 hundred projects in over 20 different industries including maintenance, small manufacturing, tourism and transport services. This includes almost every facet of organisational management including business planning, product development, operations, culture change, sales and marketing, contracting and financial management.

Outside of his profession. John is an amateur songwriter having recorded and published eight songs.  He believes in life-long learning and is a world traveller including South America, the Arctic Circle and Trans-Siberian railway.
